Hydrogen is used in different input ratios like
7 Liters per Minute
10 LPM
etc

These different ratios are needed to optimise the engine against knocking.
In SI (spark ignition) engines knocking takes place in the later stage of the power stroke due to the flame first needing to propagate from the spark plug. Wheras in CI (Compression ignition) engines, fuel injectors spray the fuel at high pressure, kocking would take place when the fuel reaches ignition temperature all at once and begins combustion at different places causing vibration.
