    in short leads the unit, is responsible for the direct subordinates
  3. Liaison role
    spends time with subordinates and then people outside their chain of command, gets information and builds a personal information network
  4. Monitor role
    remember the monitoring by wandering around example sir gave?
    manager gathers info from their immediate environment and interrogates their liaison and subordinate contacts, to get unsolicited information.
  5. Disseminator role
    the manager shares and distributes much of the information that the subordinates would not have access to and can act as a relay of information between subordinates
  6. Spokesman role
    the manager sens some of their information to people outside their unit
    in addition they have to satisfy the influential people who control their organizational unit
  7. Entrepreneurial role
    manager is a initiator of change
    seeks to improve and adopt new condition
  8. Disturbance handler role
    manager has to all the involuntary responses to pressures
  9. Resource allocator role
    they have the responsibility of deciding who will receive what in their organization
  10. Negotiator
    the manager has to keep on top of taking negotiations seriously
